Purpose
Students graduating from this department will
-Incorporate literary, social knowledge and perspectives on literature of the UK, USA, Ireland and Australia.
-Create awareness of languages, religions, genders, cultural and national identities.
-Improve scientific curiosity and research discipline and share their findings in written and oral form.
-Produce original translations by developing translation strategies for different text types.
-Develop skills in using one of the following languages: German, French, Japan, and Italian.
-Shows love and respect for all living beings and acts with free thought and will.
